#44922 DESERT SUMMER by Isabel Ferreira-De Puy
This piece is an original oil done on paper. It's meant to portray the summer heat found in the desert Southwest. The work measures 16" high X 24" wide and is matted and backed with foam board (dimensions include matte) . It is ready to be dropped into a frame of your choosing!
Born in Lisbon, Portugal, Isabel grew up just outside New York City. She graduated from Parsons School of Design, in New York City (a Division of The New School) with a degree in Environmental Design. While intending to move to Barcelona not long after graduating, she made a pit stop in New Mexico (where she met her future husband, artist John De Puy) and never left. She has been painting and exhibiting her work regionally, in the Southwest, for over 25 years. Working primarily with oils on paper and canvas, her art is vivid in color, contemporary in style and entirely inspired by nature.
